The LochStep Socks Knitting Pattern is inspired by deep water, soft movement, and things just out of sight. These hand knit socks are perfect for wandering the highlands, picnicking along the Loch, or watching the clouds move by. Featuring an argyle-inspired appearance, the pattern uses a rhythmic, repeating all-over stranded colorwork design. You’ll find the instructions easy to follow with both charts and written instructions included.

Knit cuff-down with fingering weight yarn, the pattern features a diamond gusset and wedge toe. I’ve included a tutorial for the diamond gusset to ensure knitters of all skill levels can follow the arch shaping technique with ease. A finishing tutorial is also provided to help you avoid squared-off edges when grafting the toe with Kitchener stitch.

Graded to five sizes ranging from children to adults, the pattern has been fully tested and tech edited.
