Goldbrick Lite Sock Pattern
This listing is for a PDF Download Only
Goldbrick Lite is the sock you reach for when you just want to knit—no fuss, no fancy footwork (why yes, I am very proud of that alliterative pun). This is the laid-back sister to the original Goldbrick, scaled down to fingering weight and designed to be as approachable as possible.
It’s worked cuff-down, features a classic heel flap, and uses a double gusset construction that hugs the contours of your foot in all the right places. The stitch pattern? It's stockinette all the way. I've kept it simple on purpose, so you can focus on fit, construction, and finding your sock-knitting groove.
This pattern is written for five sizes, from 6.5" to 10.5" circumference, and includes all the guidance you need to keep your momentum going from cast-on to toe.
Whether it’s your first sock or your fiftieth, Goldbrick Lite is that calm, satisfying knit you’ll come back to again and again.
